This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, implausible and function restriction due to brake temperature is the final reason of the code. |
02461 Possible Causes:
02461 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02461 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
