The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 individual cylinder control, sensor dynamic too low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit and actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
02458 Possible Causes:
02458 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02458 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine torque reduction, open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
