This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), lower limit not reached the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles event data recorder request, circuit low or change accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
02454 Possible Causes:
02454 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02454 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit achievement too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
