This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control module, internal circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high also direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02449 Possible Causes:
02449 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02449 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
