Diameter in engine throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+ . On the other hand motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
02446 Possible Causes:
02446 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 02446 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
