When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction or injector control pressure sensor, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02444 Possible Causes:
02444 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 02444 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
