Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent or secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck on will delay your vw fault. |
02442 Possible Causes:
02442 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02442 Code
- Inspect all the connections park/neutral switch input circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
