02437 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine shift lock, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high also exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
02437 Possible Causes:
02437 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02437 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
