02428 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low . So for next nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02428 Possible Causes:
02428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 02428 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
