This code were stamped on VW Engine case o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed shift up/down wire, short to b+ you can see the fuel pump, electronics faulty will delay your vw fault. |
02428 Possible Causes:
02428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 02428 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
