02426 Possible Causes:
02426 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 02426 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
