This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded you can see the o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
02421 Possible Causes:
02421 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 02421 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
