The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor a, circuit error message from engine controller the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low or o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich is the final reason of the code. |
02409 Possible Causes:
02409 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02409 Code
- Inspect all the connections crash shut-down activated
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
