02408 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit electrical malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open you can see the exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
02408 Possible Causes:
02408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02408 Code
- Inspect all the connections control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
