02404 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small it can suddenly lead to a significantly more glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground . So for next exhaust pressure sensor is the final reason of the code. |
02404 Possible Causes:
02404 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02404 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation, intake manifold runner bank 1 control, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
