02404 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 2 or change throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation is the final reason of the code. |
02404 Possible Causes:
02404 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 02404 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c clutch relay, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
