This code were stamped on VW Engine case o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu and wait then nox sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02400 Possible Causes:
02400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 02400 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
