The problem is about exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor system too lean at higher load, bank 2 . So for next internal control module: eeprom error is the final reason of the code. |
02400 Possible Causes:
02400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02400 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
