Staring in engine relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant temperature sensor, circuit or valve for torque support mount, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
024 Possible Causes:
024 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 024 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
