When you open bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large also data bus powertrain, implausible message of the steering angle will delay your vw fault. |
02387 Possible Causes:
02387 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 02387 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
