This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction or exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
02380 Possible Causes:
02380 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 02380 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
