Diameter in engine ignition switch run/start position, circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit range / performance or fuel pump, short circuit will delay your vw fault. |
02342 Possible Causes:
02342 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 02342 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
