This code were stamped on VW Engine case accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit also please check dtc memory of adr control module is the final reason of the code. |
02340 Possible Causes:
02340 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 02340 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
