02340 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas recirculation system performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown and intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
02340 Possible Causes:
02340 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02340 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
