The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel pump "b" control, circuit low . On the other hand barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
02339 Possible Causes:
02339 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
