Accumulated in electronic control units so turbo/super charger over-boost condition causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open and exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
02331 Possible Causes:
02331 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
