Staring in engine powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance you can see the signal for back-up lights, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
02317 Possible Causes:
02317 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02317 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
