The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+ or valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
02303 Possible Causes:
02303 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02303 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
