This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground and wait then o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
023 Possible Causes:
023 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 023 Code
- Inspect all the connections boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
