Staring in engine transmission control unit (j217), programming error mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, lower limit not reached or change control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02299 Possible Causes:
02299 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02299 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
