This code were stamped on VW Engine case injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too small . So for next fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
02298 Possible Causes:
02298 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02298 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of transmission ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
