02298 Description And Summary : |

When you open fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic also injector control pressure, too low is the final reason of the code. |
02298 Possible Causes:
02298 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 02298 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
