This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor idle regulation lean operation: rpm too high . On the other hand pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
02291 Possible Causes:
02291 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02291 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
