02290 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reductant temperature sensor, circuit low or charging system, voltage high is the final reason of the code. |
02290 Possible Causes:
02290 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 02290 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
