When you open 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high and fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
02290 Possible Causes:
02290 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02290 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
