The problem is about engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit low or change fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
02289 Possible Causes:
02289 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 02289 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
