This something to do with the intake camshaft timing controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+ or system too rich at higher load, bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
02289 Possible Causes:
02289 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02289 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
