Diameter in engine intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open and wait then linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
02288 Possible Causes:
02288 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02288 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message of the clutch electrics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
