Diameter in engine pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit electrical malfunction . On the other hand control module, coding fault is the final reason of the code. |
02287 Possible Causes:
02287 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02287 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
