02287 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit and wait then nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
02287 Possible Causes:
02287 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 02287 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
