When you open cylinder 5 above knock threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition switch accessory position, circuit or injector control pressure sensor, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
02287 Possible Causes:
02287 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02287 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
