When you open exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance . On the other hand please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu is the final reason of the code. |
02284 Possible Causes:
02284 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02284 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
