Staring in engine cylinder 2 above knock threshold causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low or change data bus powertrain, missing message from steering angle sensor will delay your vw fault. |
02267 Possible Causes:
02267 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02267 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
