This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel supply heater, control circuit / open . On the other hand valve for torque support mount, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
02261 Possible Causes:
02261 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02261 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
