This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit or exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low will delay your vw fault. |
02260 Possible Causes:
02260 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02260 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
