02259 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 2 internal resistance too largely and wait then o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
02259 Possible Causes:
02259 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02259 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
