Diameter in engine air cleaner inlet control, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic . On the other hand intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02258 Possible Causes:
02258 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02258 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
