Diameter in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal you can see the injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
02246 Possible Causes:
02246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02246 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
