02246 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so water in fuel sensor, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low you can see the relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02246 Possible Causes:
02246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02246 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
