The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles powertrain data bus, missing message from abs controller you can see the valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
02241 Possible Causes:
02241 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02241 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
