This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake air heater "a", circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to b+ or oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02240 Possible Causes:
02240 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02240 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
