When you open control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit . So for next secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
02230 Possible Causes:
02230 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02230 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
