Diagnosing engine bar with fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit / open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range and wait then exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption will delay your vw fault. |
02229 Possible Causes:
02229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02229 Code
- Inspect all the connections reversing light, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
