When you open valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant injection air pump control, circuit low and powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor will delay your vw fault. |
02228 Possible Causes:
02228 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02228 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
