This something to do with the intake camshaft timing clutch slip control, signal too high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded or barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |

02227 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit

- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02227 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
