02222 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel level sensor 2, circuit high voltage or drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
02222 Possible Causes:
02222 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 02222 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission request torque reduction, implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
