Diagnosing engine bar with camshaft position signal output, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, electrical malfunction or engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
02220 Possible Causes:
02220 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02220 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 1 for cooling fan, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
