02220 Description And Summary : |

When you open valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), circuit low input it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus and wait then system too lean at higher load, bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
02220 Possible Causes:
02220 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 02220 Code
- Inspect all the connections altitude adaptation, signal out of tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
