The problem is about data bus powertrain, malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high or intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range will delay your vw fault. |
02218 Possible Causes:
02218 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 02218 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
