02217 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault activation starter relay 2, open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of air condition ecu you can see the throttle actuator control module, internal circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02217 Possible Causes:
02217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 02217 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
