02216 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about control module defective it can suddenly lead to a significantly more evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit and data bus powertrain, missing message from a/c controller is the final reason of the code. |
02216 Possible Causes:
02216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02216 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 3 (n242), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
